 The Nine Enneagram Types

 arrow_orange.gifType 9 - The Mediator

Enneagram Type 9
If this is your dominant type - remembering that no type is better or worse, just different - you tend to be motivated by the need to keep the peace and avoid conflict. You are calm and accepting of others and get along with most people because you can put them quickly at ease. You are a holistic thinker who is able to see the complexity of a situation and provide a clear and balance overview. You have the ability to see all points of view and you have a keen sense of ‘knowing’ the best way forward for all concerned, though not necessarily for yourself.

You are adaptable and flexible, unflappable, yet occasionally stubborn. If you are stressed, you can be very anxious which can sometimes prevent clarity of thinking and you’re decision-making, especially for yourself. If you are content and feel secure, you are able to take right action for your own needs before others and be fully empowered and more aware and engaged in your own agenda.
